Vieux Interiors began in the spring of 2007 in a 3000 SF warehouse showroom in the Heights area of Houston, Texas. The original selection of furnishings included traditional antiques with contemporary finishes created in our workshop. Over time, Vieux evolved its collection by creating fabulous, one-of-a-kind custom pieces, including dining, coffee, console and accent tables, and a substantial collection of custom upholstery items. We also developed an edited collection of unique, contemporary home furnishings and accent pieces that included lighting, pillows, accessories, chests, original art and small furniture items.
In 2010 Vieux Interiors moved to a 9,000 SF retail showroom near the Upper Kirby district of Houston, close to Houston’s River Oaks, West University and Memorial residential areas, and near the Galleria shopping complex.
During the ten years at the West Alabama location, the business continued to shift more and more towards the custom side. The material offerings expanded and high quality local vendors were added to help us. The owner, Marty Bratton, has developed a keen eye for creativity and the ability to translate an idea into a custom table or upholstery piece.
When the lease came to an end at West Alabama, the move to the new location became obvious. The warehouse and showroom are now in one spot, making it easier to work and show items to clients. We have fully transitioned to the custom business and will continue to create custom tables and upholstery, while adding new things into the mix.
We have and will continue to work with interior designers and custom builders to help add our own unique value to their projects. If you want to register with us as a new designer, please request our designer/trade program information and we will email you a copy.
We will also actively work with retail clients that are looking to upgrade their tables or upholstery or that are working on a remodel or new home independent of a designer.
